Description:
In efforts to reach more people and help borrowers on the home ownership journey, nCino Mortgage now has the ability to accept Spanish loan inquiries. This web experience will allow the choice to have the loan inquiry be submitted in Spanish.
Steps to resolve:
Nexus Bilingual is a shortened application, which is why it is referred to as an "inquiry". This feature must be enabled by nCino teams, requires an implementation fee, and can be enabled at the loan officer, branch, region, or company level.
Web:
- From the landing page of the web experience the borrower will see a new "Espanol" button on the top menu options.
- Clicking on this button will allow the user to switch to the Spanish onboarding and loan inquiry process.
- Once a borrower begins onboarding in Spanish they will continue in Spanish until the loan inquiry form is complete.
- Once the borrower submits a loan inquiry, the system will update to be in English.
- If the company wants the “Referral Source” in the loan app to map, you will need to create a custom field in Encompass titled, “CX.SN.Lead.Source"
Mobile:
- Nexus Bilingual is not available on the mobile app.
Solution:
Nexus Bilingual, or the Spanish Loan Inquiry, is the only part of the nCino Mortgage product that is offered in another language. If you are interested in this feature please reach out to your CSM or relationship manager.
