Description:
Occasionally, third party recipients may need to sign a document for the loan. One example may be a gift letter. You can use the 'One-off Esign Document' task to create and send the needed file to a user not on the loan file.
Steps to resolve:
Follow the below steps to add a third party recipient to a one-off task.
Web:
- From the loan page create the task.
- Add the third party signer.
- Upload the document.
- Apply the signatures in DocuSign.
- Click request to send the completed one-off document task.
- An email will be received by the third party recipient. They will need to "get started" and log into the closing portal.
- View from closing portal where recipient will complete task.
Solution:
One-off documents can be used for small esign tasks needed by individuals not on the loan file. Be sure to make the sign-points and allow the completed file to load, then send the request. Third party users will create a recipient account, not a full app user account.
