Description:
At times during the course of a loan application, a loan officer may need to send a document to a borrower that needs to be signed in order to push the loan forward. Rather than needing to create a full package of documents to be signed, the One-off Esign Documents feature allows loan officers the ability to issue one-off documents that can be eSigned.
Steps to resolve:
Follow the steps below to request a One-off Esign Document from within nCino Mortgage. Please note that this feature must be enabled and there are cost incurred for envelopes created, please have a Company Admin reach out to a CSM or RM if there are any questions.
Web:
- Login to your web dashboard.
- Select the desired loan and select the "Tasks" tab.
- Click on the "Create New Task" button. A popup window will then display and you will select "Esign Document" as the task type.
- The Task can be renamed and a document description can be added if desired.
- Clicking on the "Signers" section of the form will display a dropdown menu where the borrower(s) and LO can be assigned as the people that need to sign the document.
- Add a Third Party Recipient by clicking Create New Recipient, providing the required information and clicking Save. (Note if you do not see this option reach out to a Company Admin to discuss enabling this setting as needed)
- Next is to select the file that needs to be signed. Click on the "Upload" section to look through your computer to add the file, or you can simply drag and drop the file to the popup window to have it loaded. You can add multiple files if needed, or if the wrong file is uploaded, use the "x" to remove.
- Once all of the file(s) have been added, click on the "next" button to load the file(s) to DocuSign to prepare them for signing. Loading screen will appear.
- DocuSign will then load with the information added already. Make any adjustments to the DocuSign envelope and click "NEXT".
- Add all needed signature points in DocuSign and click the “Correct” button.
- DocuSign will then close and return the LO to the web dashboard. The final popup window will show the queued up documents that have been prepared for a final review. If things look good, finalize and send out the documents by clicking on the "Request" button. The borrower will then be notified of the new tasks to be completed.
