Description:
There is a setting that allows Team Member accounts to prepare Closing Packages for their Loan Officers using nCino's DocuSign Integration. The setting can be enabled by a Company Admin.
Setting Location:
- From the Disclosures and Documents section select the Eclose Settings tile.
- Toggle on the setting Allow team members to prepare closing docs.
- This can also be adjusted at a Region and Branch level as well.
Steps to Prepare the Package as a Team Member:
-
Pull up the loan file where a Closing Package was sent and is in need of preparation.
-
Go to the Closing Package from the Tasks tab and then Track Package.
-
Select the option to Prepare Documents from the Closing Package's Overview tab.
-
The documents that need to be manually prepared will then be identified in a small pop-up window.
-
After hitting Continue the Team Member will be brought into the DocuSign integration to manually place signature points on those identified documents. Select Next to begin editing.
-
Once finished placing signature points on the identified documents, select Correct in the bottom right corner of the DocuSign Integration.
-
nCino Mortgage will then update the package with the manually placed signature points for the Borrower(s) to sign (image shows the sign points on the Documents tab of the Package Tracker).
Solution:
This will be an effective way to have Closing Packages prepared in a more timely manner, allowing for this process to be entirely in house with no action needed from nCino Mortgage Support.
