Description:
This article details what causes a different borrower name to appear on an entry in the Disclosure Tracking of Encompass. Important-Once a Disclosure Package is sent, the name shown on the entry cannot be altered. Correcting the vesting name after the fact will not change an existing entry in the Disclosure Tracking.
Steps to resolve:
A user may reach out saying the borrower name on the Disclosure Tracking Entry being wrong or different.
This is commonly caused by the Vesting Name of the borrower being edited or different on the Borrower Information - Vesting screen in Encompass.
The Borrower Info- Vesting name is what Disclosure Tracking picks up and uses for the borrower's name in the disclosure entry. Encompass independently performs this action and nCino Mortgage is not involved in the process.
Encompass:
- Regardless of what the borrower's name is on the loan file or 1003, the Disclosure Tracking will use the Vesting Name for the Borrower Pair Name on the entry.
-
While this will show the wrong name on the entry in Encompass, it will not affect the Disclosure Package in nCino Mortgage.
- nCino Mortgage will still send the Disclosure Package to the associated borrower pair and email address for that file.
- The Vesting Name in Encompass can be found by going to Forms tab > Borrower Information - Vesting.
-
See the below example to understand how the Vesting Name and Borrower Pair Name can be different.
