Description:
The below error can occasionally pop-up when trying to make updates within Encompass.
Steps to resolve:
The error is triggered when the user does not have access to make changes to the loan file. This could be because another user is in the loan file or the user has read only rights to the loan file at that time.
You will need to correct the blocking conditions to resolve this error. If it is another user, make sure that all other users have closed out of the loan file. If it is an access issue, work with an Encompass Admin to update access as needed.
Summary:
Once you have resolved what was preventing the edit access, then changes should go through without any issue. If this persists, please have a Company Admin contact support.
