Description:
There are times when a settlement agent will upload the wrong documents to a loan. In order to correct, there is a setting that allows certain user types to delete uploaded docs that a Company Admin can setup with support.
Note: This will only remove the uploaded docs from nCino Mortgage. If the uploaded docs have already been imported, they will have to be manually removed from the LOS file.
Steps to resolve:
Setting:
A company admin can work with support to adjust the "Allow user to delete uploaded docs" setting to fit company needs. Multiple account types can be selected.
How to Delete (Web Only):
- Locate the disclosure package from the tasks section of the loan, or from the package tracker at the company, region, or branch levels.
- Once the package is located, select track package. (if using the package tracker at the company level, simply select the package)
- From within package details, select the Documents tab.
- Select the Uploaded sub-suction.
- Select the 3-dot menu to the far right of the document that was uploaded.
- Select Delete.
- This will bring up a pop up window to have the agent confirm they would like to delete. Select the Delete option, which will remove the document that was uploaded by the settlement/title agent.
Solution:
Before deleting any settlement agent uploads, please remember that this action is permanent and these docs cannot be recovered once removed. Changes to account types with this access must come from a company admin.
If no Company Users are Set for This Feature:
When nCino Mortgage support receives a TICKET requesting the deletion of an uploaded document from a closing package, support can do so after confirming the below conditions have been met:
1. The settlement agent requesting is the same as on the package.
a. if not a company admin must ok the request.
2. CC the loan officer in your response for their awareness.
3. CC the company admin to let them know the self-serve setting is available to be updated at their request.
4. Remind the client that anything already imported to the LOS will need to be manually adjusted, we have simply removed the file from the loan file in nCino mortgage
Once support has confirmed the above conditions have been met, the documents can be deleted following the steps lined out above.
