Description:
When the user is attempting to request an eConsent through the nCino Mortgage Platform from within Encompass, they are receiving an error stating that they need to “assign an LO before sending the eConsent request through nCino Mortgage”.
Steps to resolve:
There are a few things that you will need to check.

- Ensure that the Loan Officer (LO) has been selected on the file in the LOS.
- Have a Company Admin ensure that the LO has an active account in nCino Mortgage, and that the correct LOS User ID is entered on the LO’s account.
- Lastly, we sometimes see this error when the field ID [LOID] does not have a value entered into it. An Encompass Admin can find this value by going to “Admin – Field Values” from within Encompass, and typing “loid” or “LOID” in the “Field ID” section at the bottom of the screen. This will then bring up the current value of any given field that you enter. Chances are, if this error is being thrown, and everything seems to be good on the nCino Mortgage side, that there is no value entered in this field. Enter the LO’s LOS ID and then save the file, and try again.
