Description:
This article shows how a loan officer can complete a task for a borrower.
Steps to resolve:
Occasionally a loan officer may want to complete a task on behalf of the borrower, for example if the borrower sent the needed document through another format. Follow the below steps on web or mobile.
Web:
- Select the desired loan, select the "Tasks" Tab to see a list of all incomplete tasks to locate the document you are trying to upload. Once found, select the downward pointing arrow on the right to bring a dropdown menu where a "+ Upload" button will appear. Select that to start the file upload.
-
A popup will then appear where you will need to hit the "+Add File" button to pull up your computer's file menu. Select the file you wish to upload and then select the "Upload" button to finish uploading the document. You can also upload multiple documents if you have them! In the example below, if a borrower had multiple W2 documents, you can upload them all at the same time under W-2 and they will all be kept under the W-2 folder.
- Once the file has been uploaded, the task will transfer over to the "Complete" tab.
- If you are going to upload a file and don't see any related task for the file you need to attach to the loan, you can create a new doc folder by selecting the "New Task" button on the right in the "Borrower Tasks" section, then chose the "New Doc Folder" option from the drop down list.
Mobile:
- Select the desired loan, scroll down to the "Tasks" section
- Select the incomplete task desired and upload via taking a picture or a saved file on your device.
- The file can be renamed and then sent securely.
- The task will then show as complete.
