Description:
This article shows how a loan officer can complete a task for a borrower.
Steps to resolve:
Occasionally a loan officer may want to complete a task on behalf of the borrower, for example if the borrower sent the needed document through another format. Follow the below steps on web or mobile.
Web:
- Select the desired loan, select the "Tasks" Tab to see a list of all incomplete tasks to locate the document you are trying to upload.
- Once found, click on the task.
- A window will pull over from the right. Click the Select files button or drag and drop the file into the designated area.
-
Select the file you wish to upload and then select the Open button to finish uploading the document. The uploaded document will show on the task, and the task will be marked as completed.
-
You can also upload multiple documents if you have them! In the example below, if a borrower had multiple driver license documents, you can upload them all at the same time under the task, and they will all be kept in the one task.
-
- If you are going to upload a file and don't see any related task for the file you need to attach to the loan, you can follow the process found in this article: Send A View Only Document to a Borrower
Mobile:
- Select the desired loan, scroll down to the "Tasks" section
- Select the incomplete task desired and upload via taking a picture or a saved file on your device.
- The file can be renamed and then sent securely.
- The task will then show as complete.
