Batched Document Upload Email Notification

This feature consolidates individual Borrower Document Upload Notifications into a single hourly summary email containing all upload activity from that period. This reduces email volume and simplifies document tracking. If the notification setting "Borrower uploads document" is also enabled, the batch notification email overrides this other email and only the batch email will be sent out.

 

If a user wishes to not get batch document upload notifications on their account, please disable this notification setting and enable the "Borrower uploads document" setting to get an email each time a doc is uploaded under the loan officer account.

Steps to resolve:

Follow these steps to enable Batched Document Upload Notifications based on Loan Officer and Team Member user roles:

Web - Loan Officers:

  1. Navigate to your Account settings page.
  2. Locate the Batch Document Notifications section.
  3. Toggle the Batch Document Notifications setting to ON.
  4. In the email field that appears, add any additional team member email addresses who should receive the digest.

Web - Team Members:

  1. Go to Settings in the main navigation.
  2. Select Notifications from the menu.
  3. Find the Batch Document Notifications option in the list.
  4. Toggle the setting to ON to enable batched notifications.

Solution:

Once enabled, you will receive consolidated email notifications that include:

  • A clear subject line showing "Document Upload Notifications" with the time period covered (e.g., "June 10th between 10:00 -11:00 AM")
  • Organized sections for each loan with document activity
  • Borrower names and loan numbers for easy identification
  • Complete list of uploaded documents with timestamps
  • A "View activity" button to access full details in the system

Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Q: Can I change the batching frequency from hourly to another interval?
    A: Currently, the system only supports hourly batching. Custom frequency options may be available in future updates.
  • Q: Will this affect my existing notification preferences?
    A: Only document upload email notifications will be batched. All other notifications remain unchanged.
