Description:
This describes the Caller ID feature that allows the app to display who notifications are coming from if the number is listed in the nCino Mortgage app's contact list.
Steps to resolve:
This option is only available in the mobile app and must be turned on from within the Loan Officer's app.
Mobile:
- Click on the account button on the bottom right hand side of the screen.
- Then, click on Settings.
- Toggle on the Caller ID option as shown in the screenshot below.
Solution:
Once these steps are completed, the caller ID setting is turned on.
It should be noted that this caller id will not impact your phone's normal caller settings and will only display information related to the contacts saved within the app. Turning off or changing your phone settings for Caller ID will not impact how the app functions, only turning off/on this setting will. Also, Caller ID is known to have issues with Samsung brand phones, even if the feature is turned on from the app. A workaround to this would be to download a third-party phone app such as "Phone" from the Google Playstore to use this feature.
