Description:
Documents uploaded by the borrower can be moved or duplicated to other loans under the same loan officer. This can help the loan officer correct files if the borrower uploaded to the wrong loan, or on an application.
Steps to resolve:
The move or duplicate function can be completed from the loan documents tab, or the doc inbox. Remember this feature only works if moving documents to another file under the same loan officer.
Doc Inbox:
- The advantage of the doc inbox is that you can move or duplicate more then 1 file at a time.
- Select the file, or files.
- Choose duplicate or "more" to move.
- Duplicate: select loan file and select duplicate to save.
- Move: select the loan file and move to save.
-note that moving permanently moves the file to the new loan.
Documents Tab:
- Open the required document PDF on the documents tab.
- At the top of the PDF select if you wish to move or duplicate the document.
- Move: select the loan file and move to save.

Solution:
Moving documents will completely transfer the uploaded file to the new loan destination. Duplicating a file will "copy" the file to a new loan destination. Moving and duplicating can only be done on files under the same loan officer. These can be applications or loans.
